Honor 5C is the latest mid-range Android Smartphone from Huawei Mobiles and in this tutorial we are going to Root the device. Official TWRP 3.0.2.0 for Honor 5C is available for download with new material design and supports Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Once the TWRP Recovery is installed you can Root Honor 5C. Early Preparations:

How to install TWRP Recovery on Honor 5C:

Step 1: Download TWRP Recovery for Honor 5C and rename it to recovery.img and copy it inside the Fastboot folder.

Step 2: Let the Fastboot folder be open and press and hold the Shift key and Right click inside the folder at the empty space and choose Open command window here.

Step 3: Connect Honor 5C to PC and enter the below commands in CMD:

adb devices

This command lists the devices connected to PC with USB debugging enabled. It is used to confirm whether Honor 5C is connected to PC properly or not.

adb reboot bootloader

This command boots Honor 5C into Fastboot Mode.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

This command flashes TWRP Recovery on Honor 5C.

Step 1: Download SuperSU for Honor 5C from downloads section.

Step 3: Boot Honor 5C into Recovery Mode.

• Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together.
