In this tutorial checkout how to install CM 12 on Yureka Plus and Yureka to unbrick / debrick the device – Official Firmware.
Do you own Yureka or Yureka Plus? And facing so many issues with it? Then this guide might help you. In this tutorial we are going to install CM 12 on Yureka Plus and Yureka. Many people are facing issues with Yureka AO5510 and Yureka Plus YU5510 and we have been receiving many comments from the users whose device got stuck at YU Logo and never boots up. So if you are having any problem with Yureka or Yureka Plus this tutorial will help you in fixing it.
This tutorial is suitable for the devices which are able to boot into Fastboot and Recovery Mode i.e., in short soft bricked devices. So if you’re Yureka or Yureka Plus is soft bricked or if you are facing software issues on your device then follow this tutorial and get it fixed.
Without any further delay let’s proceed with the steps on how to install CM 12 on Yureka Plus and Yureka.
Early Preparations:
- If possible take a complete backup of your device. Not applicable for the Soft Bricked devices.
Backup and Restore SMS
Backup and Restore Contacts
Backup and Restore Call Logs
Backup files on internal Storage to PC.
- Install Suitable USB Drivers on PC – Video Tutorial.
- Setup ADB and Fastboot drivers on PC – Windows | Mac.
- Charge Yureka / Yureka Plus to at least 75 – 80%.

How to install CM 12 on Yureka Plus and Yureka – Official Firmware:
Step 1: Download the required files on PC and extract the Flash Tool on Desktop.
Step 2: Now extract all the firmware files to the Flash Tool folder and make sure all the image files (boot.img, System.img etc.) and flash-all.bat are inside the same folder.
Step 3: Boot Yureka / Yureka Plus into Fastboot Mode – How? Follow here.
Step 4: Run flash-all.bat as administrator.
Step 5: Wait for the flashing to be done. Once done your device will reboot.
With this you are done with installing CM 12 on Yureka Plus and Yureka and unbricked your device. Please make a note that the first boot might take some time so please be patience and wait for your device to boot up successfully.

I have bricked my device which was running cm12. If flash tools wont work on cm12.1 then can i flash cm12?
I am not able to unbrick my yu yureka plus even after doing all the things mentioned. In my laptop it shows nothing else but flashing rom unlocking bootloader after hitting flash.bat please help me

CM (CyanogenMod) is no longer available for Yureka and Yureka Plus. Download and install YUOS from here.
please give me step by step procedure to unbrick yureka plus yu5510 by copying commands

Hey , buddy i got problem after doing this
my device is not now showing up in adb devices and also when i am switching it on it’s just stuck at yu logo for 10 seconds and then reboot again and again , tell me the solution
Download the CM 12.1 Stock ROM for Yureka/ Yureka Plus from the above links and flash it on your device using YU Flash Tool.
after doing all these, my phone instead of yu logo there are just few lines appearing on corner of the screen vertically and phone is booting up lines are appearing and again phone is rebooting, the problem get worse after doing this
Are you able to get into Fastboot Mode? If yes, then follow this thread.
When i m flashing is shows waiting for device..and nothing will happen…

Yes, but use CM 13 ROM instead of CM 12.
dear Alpesh i did everything as you mentioned in the steps but when i switch on the flash-all.bat file it just displays even though my phone is connected(in fastboot mode) with my computer…
this is when i normally start the file, when i open it with administrator it opens and closes and with both cases my phone remains on fastboot mode
Pls suggest what to do
First of all, make sure ADB and Fastboot drivers are installed on your device. Enter this command to check –
fastboot -i 0x1ebf devicesThen try running all the fastboot commands from
flash-all.batfile manually, by typing them in CMD.Hope this helps. 🙂

No, this tutorial is for Yureka and Yureka Plus which were powered by CyanogenMod.

extract the files from “cm-12.1-YOG4PAS8A4-tomato-signed-fastboot-a7a306cebd.zip” to the folder “factory-image-flash-tools-yureka-lollipop-windows-flashtools” and now that folder should contain 20 files (1.36gb approximately)
now right click on “flash-all.bat” and click edit and minimize it
now in the same folder perform “shift+right click” and “open command window here”
maximize that editing of flash all.bat and carefully copy commands starting with fastboot
copy and paste them one by one in command window that you opened
you shoud copy-paste- click enter, if it asks to click volume up for confirmation click volume up
some img files look like flashing agian and agin wait patiently till they finish

you shoud not get any errors if so check if you have copied correctly….

My Yureka YU5510 has been hard bricked while I try to fix the bootloop problem via fastboot commands. I accidentally erased some files via commands. Now my phone doesn’t boot, no fastboot no recovery.
After many searched I managed to enter into fastboot by writing backup.img to sd card and tapping test points. further, i tried to flash via fastboot, got an error (flash write failure) for the files which I had erased via fastboot. what should I do now? Please help me
I tried both running flash-all.bat and typing the commands in. But it says ‘the remote device is locked’.

You need to have unlocked bootloader. Follow the instructions listed here to unlock the bootloader on your device.
Thanks for the comment. I tried it and was able to flash it. But the phone still is in a bootloop. I asked 2 mobile shops and they said it was bcuz of a battery issue and needs replacing. So I might try that now
After successfully install fastboot by above given method after that when i restart it again in aoft brick.. i mean it stuck at yu logo and then reatart and again stuck , this proceaa is continued till when i remove the battery or shut off by the power button.

Have you tried clearing cache and date from Recovery Mode? If not, follow the instructions listed here.
i tried installing YU-OPEN-OS-M6.0.1-MOB30D-sambar-fastbootimages-nightly-20161202 , following above instructions.
now the phone doesn’t boots,(neither bootloader). stuck with yu logo and some ” SYSTEM “.
fastbootmode still appears on connecting with pc.
Also while trying all steps from start, i get stuck at PDA NET setup.

Open flash-all.bat in text editor and enter the command listed there one by one manually.
