Sony Mobiles has started rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware to its devices via OTA. Earlier we have seen the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware update for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and now it’s also being rolled out to Xperia Z3. So pickup your Xperia Z3 and check for Software update from Settings > About Phone > Software Updates. As the firmware updates are rolled out via OTA (Over-The-Air) they might take some time to reach your region and so you will not receive software update notification.
