Will this work for all versions of the E3 ? I bought mine in Vietnam a year ago- it has English, Vietnamese and Chinese language options. I am now living in the UK and have also rooted the phone with Framaroot. OTA updates have not been available here- even when the phone was unroofed. Would really like KitKat on this device as it has been an excellent phone.

    Hi Sunil,
I made all the set up as per the instructions but the upgrade is not triggered when I connected my device to the PC. I doubt, the USB debugging is not enabled for the process to start ,as we may need to manually select the check box while cable is connected to PC to start accessing the phone storage.

Please suggest if we can try this while phone is switched on or any alternative for enabling the USB debugging.

    Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention I have already enabled the developer option of USB debugging and Unknown sources option in security.

No, It won’t but it is highly recommended to take a backup of your data before you proceed to avoid accidental loss of data.
