A recognized developer named dr.ketan at XDA has developed an Android application that will enable the call recording feature on Galaxy Note 5 and Note 4. This app replaces the add call (+) button with the record button. This app has no control over recording and it doesn’t record calls automatically. So this app is safe to use and thus enables call recording on Galaxy Note 5 and Note 4.

To Enable Call Recording on Galaxy Note 5 and Note 4 you must have root access as this app requires root permissions. So before you proceed Root Galaxy Note 5 or Note 4. Once done follow the steps listed below.

Enable Call Recording on Galaxy Note 5 and Note 4:

  1. Download the Native Call Record app for your device from the below links.

  1. Enable Unknown Sources option from Settings > Security > Unknown Sources.
  2. Install the app with the help of file manager like ES File Explorer.
  3. Open it and grant SuperSU permissions.
  4. Tap on “enable call recorder”.
  5. Restart your device.
  6. Once the Call Recording is enabled you can uninstall the app.

    I’ve followed the tutorial which works fine on my Galaxy Note 4 but then it comes to the next question. I can’t find the recorded file. Where’s it saves them?
