Conclusion

The Android 15 Developer Preview enables early access to new Android features before public release. However, this unfinished build may contain bugs and performance issues. Installing the preview carries risks and is best suited for technically savvy users who can troubleshoot problems.

For most Pixel users, waiting for the public beta or stable Android 15 version is recommended for a smoother experience. The Developer Preview is explicitly intended for developers and coders to assist in finding bugs.

If you install the preview but later want to revert to official firmware, be sure to back up your data and completely reset your phone. In summary, the Android 15 Developer Preview offers an exciting but potentially unstable sneak peek at the future Android OS for Pixels. Use caution when installing unfinished preview builds.
