Samsung has just released the Android 7.0 Nougat Beta Program for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The Galaxy beta program app is available in the UK Galaxy Store and it allows users to register for the beta program and get their hands on the first beta builds of Android 7.0 Nougat for Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7. If you have joined the Android 7.0 Nougat beta testing for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, you will be the first to get the latest Samsung software and test it out to provide feedback to Samsung, which will help to improve the stability and reliability of the firmware for the other non-beta testers.
There’s no mention about the release date of Android 7.0 Nougat Beta for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on the app’s listing, but since Samsung is letting users to register for the beta program we can expect it somewhere at the end of this year. Last year Marshmallow update did arrived in December.
This is the great step from Samsung as more and more users will get involved in beta testing the firmware and thus it will improve the frequency of OTA update rollouts. People will see more frequent updates on their device with latest features, bug fixes and performance improvements.
The Galaxy Beta Program APK was uploaded on XDA forums, but the Samsung servers which provide the support to this app aren’t currently online and we can expect an official announcement from Samsung before they go online. However you can grab the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program APK from the below downloads sections.
