After launching LAVA X81 smart phone last week, the company has launched LAVA X80 tablet priced at Rs. 9,999 which will be available across retail outlets in India. The LAVA X80 tablet is available in White and Black colors options and is designed to offer ” Next Generation Experience to Consumers”, said Raman Sharma, VP and Head of Tablets and IT, LAVA International.
LAVA X80 features an 8 inch HD IPS (1280 x 800 pixels) display with Intel Atom Baytrail quad-core SoC 1.83GHz processor combined with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which further can be expandable up to 32GB microSD card. The device however runs on older Android 4.4 KitKat version.
Coming to camera department, LAVA X80 comes with 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash and there is also a 3.2 megapixel front facing camera for better selfies and video calling.
In the connectivity front, LAVA X80 has single SIM slot with 3G & voice calling capabilities via headset and speaker, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The device is backed by a 4200mAh battery which provides long lasting usage on single charge. The tablet measures 215.5(H) x 125(w) x 9.0(T)mm and weighs 320 grams.
