This tutorial shows how to use Quick Connect feature on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge – Guide

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge comes with lots of features packed in them among them some are Fingerprint scanner, Quick Connect etc. This tutorial is all about Quick Connect features and how to use it. Quick Connect as the name implies, it allows users to search and connect to nearby devices and share content stored on your device with them. It makes use of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct or screen mirroring depending on what type of content you are sharing and the receiving device has Quick Connect feature or not.

How to use Quick Connect feature on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge

If both the devices you’re connecting supports Quick Connect feature then make sure screen is turned on and it won’t goes off. If there is no Quick Connect feature available then make sure to activate Bluetooth or the Wi-Fi Direct.

So without any further ado let’s proceed to know how to use Quick Connect Feature on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

How to use Quick Connect feature on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge:

Step 1: Access the notification panel by swiping from top, to access Quick Connect.

Step 2: Select “Quick Connect”.

Step 3: Make your device always visible or only when Quick Connect turned on.

Step 4: Select “TURN ON CONNECT” and a list of nearby devices will be listed.

Step 5: Select the device you would like to connect to and connect with it.

Step 6: Now Share the content with the other device and ask him to ACCEPT.
