  1. Hi there. I have a OnePlus X as a Xmas present. I haven’t done anything with it at all yet, no sim card or contacts, no apps, nothing. It is just as i received it from the maker. Will unlocking the Bootloader simply leave the phone in the state it is in now or will it be wiped completely, having no O/S or anything on it at all, i.e., wiped as if formatted?
I am not good with phones, hence my what may seem like ridiculous questions.

    Hope you can answer.

    • Unlocking the Bootloader will wipe all the data stored on the internal storage and restores your device to Factory Settings as it was received from the Factory. It will not remove the OS. Hope it clears your doubt. πŸ™‚
