Reliance has confirmed that the Jio 4G Network will be public from September 5 with Free Welcome offer. With the Free Welcome Offer you will get unlimited HD voice & video calling, unlimited SMS, high-speed 4G data and access to a host of Jio premium apps till 31st Dec, 2016. This article lists steps on how to port existing number to Jio 4G Network or how to port to Jio 4G.
Reliance has also confirmed that those who walking with their Aadhaar Card will get the SIM in 15 mins. Starting 5 September 2016, everyone owning 4G Mobile can get the SIM. If you don’t want to have separate number and want to port your existing Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Aircel, Tata Docomo, BSNL, Telenor etc., number to Reliance Jio 4G then follow the instructions listed below.
How to Port existing number to Jio 4G:
Step 1: Send PORT Mobile Number to 1900 from your existing number which you want to port to Jio 4G.
Ex: SMS “Port 9999999999” to 1900. Write the message without quotes.
Step 2: You should receive a message with Unique Porting Code.
Step 3: Download MyJio app from Google Play Store and generate offer code. To know how to generate offer code, checkout the FAQ Section.
Step 4: Walk in to any of the Reliance Digital / Dx Mini / Preferred Jio retailer or prominent multi-brand Jio Stores with the port out code, Free Welcome offer code (Generated in Step 3) and your handset.
Step 5: Submit a copy of proof of address, proof of Identity and a photograph to avail the SIM.

1) How to generate Welcome offer code?
A) Open MyJio app after you have downloaded it from Play Store. At the top tap on avail offer and follow the on-screen instructions.
2) Avail offer option is not available on MyJio app?
A) Avail offer option would display after 5-10 seconds. If it doesn’t displayed even after 5-10 seconds, then tap on Install all apps and download all the Jio apps one by one. Now close the MyJio app and all the Jio related applications. Open MyJio app again and you should see the avail offer option.
