BlackBerry has launched BlackBerry Leap the all new latest full touch smartphone from BlackBerry at the ongoing MWC 2015 event at Barcelona, Spain. The device comes with BlackBerry Assistant feature and Amazon App store to download Android apps easily. So with the addition of the Amazon app store, you have access to millions of Android apps on your BlackBerry device.

BlackBerry Leap

BlackBerry Leap is a 5 inch smartphone with HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 16:9 ratio. It is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with Adreno 225 GPU and 2GB RAM. It runs on latest BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 and comes with 16GB onboard storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

BlackBerry Leap has 144 x 72.8 x 9.5 mm dimensions and weighs around 170 grams. It sports an 8MP rear camera with Auto-Focus, LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording at 30 fps. It also has the 2MP Fixed-Focus front facing camera with 720p HD video recording.

BlackBerry Leap packs a 2800 mAh battery which can give up to 25hrs of battery life on heavy use. Coming to connectivity the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS. The back panel of the BlackBerry Leap has the rubberized feel and has tiny patterns as seen on BlackBerry Z3.
