How to Install Oxygen OS 2.1 on OnePlus 2 – OTA

This tutorial mentions steps on how to install Oxygen OS 2.1 on OnePlus 2.

OnePlus Team has started rolling out its latest build Oxygen OS 2.1 to OnePlus 2. This update is rolled out via OTA (Over-The-Air) and comes with lots of bug fixes tom improve the user experience. If you want to update OnePlus 2 to Oxygen OS 2.1 then head over to Settings > About Phone > System Update and check for the update and download it. The update is just 39MB in size so it won’t cost you much mobile data.

How to install Oxygen OS 2.1 on OnePlus 2:

Step 1: If you have rooted your OnePlus 2 then download the both Oxygen OS 2.0.2 Full ROM package and Oxygen OS 2.1 OTA package. If you are on Complete Stock or not rooted then just download the OTA package.

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the package(s) transfer it/them to internal storage of your device.

Step 3: Boot OnePlus 2 into Recovery Mode by powering off OnePlus 2 and pressing and holding Volume Up and Power buttons until you are in the Recovery Mode.

Step 4: Now follow the steps listed here and install the Package(s) on OnePlus 2.

Step 5: Reboot and check the Oxygen OS version.

That’s it. You have successfully installed Oxygen OS 2.1 on OnePlus 2.
