  5. Setup ADB and Fastboot drivers on PC.

Step 1: Download the appropriate OTA update for your device from here.

Step 2: Copy the downloaded OTA update to Fastboot folder and rename it to nougat.zip or update.zip, whichever is easy for you.

Step 3: Connect Nexus device to PC using appropriate USB Cable.

Step 4: Open Fastboot folder and press and hold the Shift key and Right click inside the folder at the empty space and choose Open command window here.

Step 5: Now enter the below command in CMD:

adb reboot recovery

This command boots your Nexus device into Recovery Mode.

Step 6: Follow the instructions listed here and adb sideload OTA update on Nexus device.
