Step 1: Download the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OTA package from the link provided below:
Step 2: Copy the firmware package on your device’s internal storage.
Step 3: Boot Motorola Droid Turbo into Recovery Mode.
- Power off Motorola Droid Turbo.
- Hold Volume Down and Power buttons together until you see Bootloader Mode.
- Use Volume Down button to highlight the recovery mode and select it using Volume up button.
Step 4: In Recovery Mode, choose “Install zip from SD card” and select the OTA package and install it.
Step 5: Reboot your device and check the Android version from Settings > About Phone.
Note: The first boot may take some time, so please be patience as it updates all the existing apps and builds some cache.
