Finally, YouTube has addressed this issue and added this feature to its Android app. The recent YouTube 12.03.57 update brought this feature to Android device, wherein you can fast forward a video to 10 seconds or rewind it 10 seconds. The YouTube 12.03.57 update may not be available for most of the people yet. If you are among them then just go here and download the YouTube 12.03.57 APK file (Link) and install it manually after enabling Unknown Sources option from Settings > Security.

How to Fast Forward and Rewind on YouTube Android:
Step 1: Open YouTube App.
Step 2: Search for a video and play it.
Step 3: To fast forward 10 seconds double tap on the right side. Similarly, double-tap on the left side to rewind back to 10 seconds.
Tip: Double-tap skips the video by 10 seconds and if you continue to tap you can skip video by 20 seconds, 30 seconds & 40 seconds and so on.
