Method 1: Factory Hard Reset OnePlus 2 from Settings.

  1. Pickup your OnePlus 2 Smartphone.
  2. Go to Settings > Backup & Reset.
  3. Now tap on Factory data reset option.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  5. Reboot your device.

Method 2: Factory Hard Reset OnePlus 2 from Recovery Mode.

  1. Power off OnePlus 2.
  2. Boot into Recovery Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down and Power buttons together until you see OnePlus Logo. Once the OnePlus logo appears release the Power button while still holding the Volume Down button.
  3. Once you are in Recovery Mode, select Advanced and then Format Data.
  4. If you just want to wipe all the installed applications and device cache then choose Wipe Data and Cache option.
  5. Reboot your device.
