NFC is short for Near Field Communication which follows close-range wireless communication standards. With the help of NFC, smartphones can exchange information with each other with a simple tap or wave. NFC are commonly associated with the “mobile wallet”, an idea that your smartphones will replace cash and credit cards and with one tap you can pay for your groceries and redeem offers or coupons.

Apart from the mobile payments, there are a huge number of uses for NFC, for instance, paying for your parking meter, getting tickets or boarding passes (Some airlines and buses also support NFC paying for boarding passes), and opening doors (Some companies and universities could use NFC-enabled devices as security badges, to gain physical access somewhere, members need only tap their smartphones at the door.). One could also use NFC to download information. To tap or wave your smartphone, you could get more information.

There are whole lot of uses of NFC in the real world and one can also use NFC tags, which can be configured to perform some or the other actions. For example, configure an NFC tag to change the Smartphone profile to general when you are at home and stick on your table. When you reach home just wave your smartphone on the NFC tag it automatically changes your profile from meeting or silence to General.

Recapping the specifications of Bluboo Picasso 4G, we know that it would come with updated MTK 6735 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 5.0-Inch OGS display, 8MP front camera and 13 MP rear camera with custom-made Sony Sensor.
