How to get Unlimited offer on Jio 4G instead of 2GB Data, 100 mins Calls and 100 SMS
Reliance Jio has been in testing for a while now. Initially the Jio 4G SIM was available via invite system and later it was made available along with LYF Smartphones. Recently Reliance partnered with Samsung to offer Jio 4G SIM to some of the Samsung models like Galaxy A5, A7, (2015 & 2016) Galaxy A8, Note 4 and 5, Note edge, and the entire Galaxy S6 and S7 series. This led some 4G handset owners to grab the SIM because of the bug in the MyJio app. If you managed to grab the Jio 4G SIM and received just 2GB of data then follow the below steps to activate unlimited offer.

If you haven’t got Jio 4G SIM Coupon code, then you can watch the below video to get one and grab the SIM from the nearest Reliance digital store.
If you managed to grab the Coupon code and got the SIM and it’s activated, but received only 2GB Data, 100 mins of Calls, and 100 SMSs free, then just follow the steps listed below to activate unlimited offer on Reliance Jio 4G.
How to get or activate unlimited offer on Jio 4G SIM instead of 2GB:
Step 1: Uninstall MyJio app from your device.
Step 3: Go to http://jio.com/getmyjio and signup for an account using your Jio number.
Step 4: Turn off Mobile Data and Wi-Fi and open MyJio app.
Step 5: Tap on Open besides MyJio and you should see “Get Jio SIM” option. Minimize the app, make sure it is in memory and is not terminated, so even after maximizing it “Get Jio SIM” option wont vanish away.
Step 6: Now uninstall all the Jio Apps installed on your device except MyJio app.
Step 7: Once all the Jio apps are uninstalled, open MyJio app from multitasking tray.
Step 8: Enable Mobile Data from Jio SIM (Recommended to use Mobile data from Jio SIM only).
Step 9: Sign in using the Jio ID which you have created in Step 3.
Step 10: A popup should pop up, prompting to download 4 apps; JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, and JioMoney. Tap on Submit and download all the four Jio Apps.
Step 11: Once all the apps are installed close the MyJio app and clear it from memory.
Step 12: Open the MyJio app again from app drawer and let it Sign in automatically and you will see that unlimited offer is activated on your Jio SIM. A message should be delivered to the mobile prompting the same.
Solution to Force Update on MyJio app: After reaching the Step 7; Click on “Get Jio SIM” option and a popup should appear saying that there is no Network, just tap on Ok. Now Enable Mobile Data and quickly go back and tap on Sign In button. Now the Force Update popup should be bypassed and you can Sign in easily.
That’s it now the unlimited offer is successfully activated on your Jio Number.

Q) Got unlimited plan activated but Calls still shows 97 mins left or so.
A) This is because you have two plans activated on your Jio Number. One is Prepaid FRC which is limited plan and the other is Prepaid Plan which is unlimited one. So first of all FRC Plan will be exhausted and then the unlimited plan will be used.
Q) Will the speed remains same even after my limited plan is over?
A) Yes, the speed remains same until and unless you have network issues in your area or region.
Q) How to know whether unlimited plan is activate on my Jio SIM?
A) After signing in to MyJio App you will see the screen as shown in the image after Step 12. You can also confirm it under My Plan in My Jio App. It should show both FRC Plan (Limited Plan) and Prepaid plan.
Q) While Signing in at Step 9 there is an error – “Oops something went wrong. Please try again later“.
A) Go to Jio.com and login with your Jio ID and Password and add your Email under Profile settings and verify it. Once done try to sign in again and it should work.
If this doesn’t work then follow the force update popup solution to fix it.
Q) After signing up using Jio number and clicking on generate OTP. Its showing that OTP sent to your mobile number, but no OTP is received to sign up. What to do?
A) OTP has been sent to your Jio Number. If your mobile doesn’t support VoLTE you have to use JioJoin app to read all the messages sent to your Jio SIM.
Q) Activated unlimited offer using Samsung mobile, will the unlimited offer will still be active if the Jio SIM is used on other Mobile?
A) Yes, it will be active on any mobile.
Q) Given 2GB Data under FRC Plan is over. What can be done to use this trick?
A) Ask your friend who has Jio SIM to create a Wi-Fi Hotspot for you and then follow the above steps.
Q) After Step 11, it is asking to update MyJio app or After installing 4 apps can i update MyJio app?
A) After you have installed all the four apps and unlimited offer is activated you can update the MyJio app.
